HISTORY: Chris grew up in a small town with rather small family but they were always close. During High School, many of his good friends were drawn in by the influences of gangs. However Chris would not take part in that, he instead enlisted in the ROTC program in his High School and learned survival skills as well as getting in shape. One night in his senior year, he would return home from watching the school Football game to find his home broken into and his Father and Mother shot dead in the living room. Before he had time to grieve however, he would discover that the intruder was still there so he grabbed his Father's gun and fought back against the intruder ultimately killing them in self defense. When police arrived they gave him the sad information that the man responsible was in fact his cousin Rob who was high on drugs and sent to loot the house as part of gang initiation. Grief stricken Chris was sent to live with his Grandparents where he would graduate from school, from there he enrolled in Police Academy. At the age of Twenty he would meet Ashley Lawson, and even though she was only 17; the two of them would begin dating; eventually falling in love. The night Chris graduated from the SWAT team Academy he would propose too Ashley. After eight months of dating the two got married and she would soon become pregnant with their son Adrian. They welcomed baby Camille into the family four years later.
At a Family Barbecue with Chris's best friend and partner on the force Marcus' house, a neighbor wandered into the yard and attacked Marcus' wife. Chris rushed to action and shot the neighbor in the head, but they would soon realize that the whole world had a widespread outbreak of whatever this is. They gathered in groups and hit the road, looking for a safe haven. Over time their group of twenty dwindled down and Chris was forced to shoot his best friend's wife in the head after she turned, adding to the guilt he would carry. Chris carries much darkness but sees himself as a protector and leader of his group, despite them getting seperated.
WHAT IS YOUR CHARACTER CARRYING?:

"Clear!" Chris shouts as he and Marcus enter the gas station doors. Adrian comes in from the side with a revolver in hand.
"All Clear Dad" He says as he gets closer to his Father and Marcus. They make their way to the shelves. They all open their backpacks and start throwing items inside for later. Cupcakes, Slim Jims, Beef Jerky packs and various chocolates before they go to the refrigerators and open the doors. Chris grabs his favorites: Mountain Dew, Monster Energy Shakes and Root Beer; Ashley's favorite. He hadn't seen her in a while but he had to keep faith that she was still alive.
Once his bag was full he looked back at Marcus and Adrian who had just finished filling their bags. "Alright guys we're going back out to the truck, you two go first. I'll cover you and fill the tank in back with enough gas to last us a while." Marcus nodded and he and Adrian sprinted out to the truck. They get into the truck as Chris comes behind them and grabs the large container for gas and rushes to the pump pumping gas into the container as fast as it will allow him too.
